# Dashboard

> Understand the ParkSig dashboard and what each section shows

The dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in to ParkSig. It gives you a live summary of your parking locations and current activity.

## Stats overview

Three summary cards appear at the top of the dashboard.

| Card | What it shows |
| ------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Total locations** | The number of parking locations in your account. |
| **Total parking spaces** | The combined capacity across all locations, including how many spaces are currently available. |
| **Current occupancy** | The overall occupancy percentage and how many spaces are occupied right now. |

## Monthly occupancy chart

Below the stats cards, a chart displays occupancy trends over the past several months. Use this to spot patterns in parking demand across your locations.

The chart only appears once you have permit activity recorded.

## Recent activity

The recent activity feed shows the latest permit events across your locations, such as new registrations and expirations. This gives you a quick pulse on day-to-day activity without navigating into individual locations.

## Location actions

If no parking locations have been created yet, the dashboard shows a prompt to create your first location. Once locations exist, use **View all locations** from the Total Locations card to navigate to the full locations list.
